At the end of 2013, I gave up my rather convenient existence in a decently large city to move in with my loves at their relatively remote ranch.  Cue hilarious antics.  Basically, I started this blog as a way to share with my city dwelling friends and family, the stories that they found unbelievable, that have simply become my daily life.

From there Monogamy is for Manhattan has taken off and has become something that I am quite proud of. You may notice that I refer to Partner #1 and Partner #2.  That is because we are polyamorous, which means that there are 3 of us in 1 extraordinarily loving, supportive, completely honest relationship.  However, the point of Monogamy is for Manhattan is not to be a blog about polyamory.  My relationship and family is obviously a huge part of my life and the mentioning of my alternative relationship status is unavoidable. Rather think of it as nonchalant references to my spouses - casual and unceremonious.  As it should be.
